Karen Byers has been a stylist at dresscode since November 2005. Born and raised in Peabody, she received a BBA at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and joined the corporate world. After a career in banking and finance,
Karen decided to take some time off to be a stay at home mom to her two boys. As the boys got older, she launched a new career in the fashion world by opening a franchise of the New York line, ETC in her North Andover home. After three successful years of running her own business, she became an Area Development manager for the company until she was recruited by Amy to work as a stylist at dresscode.
Customers appreciate Karen’s classic, yet trendy sense of style, her patience and most of all, her total honesty when it comes to their wardrobe. “I love helping someone find the perfect outfit, but if it doesn’t look good on you, I don’t want you to wear it.” Karen explains. “When you leave dresscode with your new clothes, I want you to really feel and look amazing!”
